Women of Combat CIC ("we") is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. We handle personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect and why

Event bookings: your name, email, optional phone number and notes, so we can manage your booking and contact you about the event. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

Access to Training Fund: only the minimum details needed to respond – your name or preferred name, a safe contact method and time, a general location, and the type of training and support you're looking for. We do not ask for details of personal experiences. We rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Gym listings: gym details and a contact name and email. The gym details and contact email are published on the directory; the contact name is not.

Enquiries and reviews: the details you provide so we can respond. Reviews are only published with your permission.

How we protect it

Information is stored in a secure, access-controlled database. Access to Training Fund applications can only be viewed by a small number of authorised administrators who must sign in. We will never publicly identify applicants or people we support without their explicit, informed consent, and we never sell your data.

How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, and review records regularly. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, use our contact form or message us on Instagram. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
